Avoid Jumping to a Solution
Jumping immediately to the solution is something I have struggled with ever since entering my career in design. Ever since I was young I was always taught to try and come up with an answer to every question whether it was pop quizzes in history or final exams in physics.
I still struggle with the urge to immediately come up with a solution, but I have developed some strategies to help me jumping straight to an answer. And I hope that designers everywhere can implement some of these strategies to help build more user centred products.
